Vi Bella Serves

How can you be involved in the immediate needs as well as the  long-term solution to the hurricane aftermath?

Vi Bella Serves, our sister non-profit is run by a volunteer board and is committed to working wisely with trusted Haitian leaders and partners to get funds directly to where they are needed. Our artisans in Simonette and Arcahaie, Haiti are safe today but the long term impact will be great. Medical assistance will be needed as well as more employment opportunities. Robenson, one of our artisans in South Haiti is homeless and without food or water. We desire to help him rebuild his small business after assuring food and water has been delivered.  Any donations made to Vi Bella Serves will go to the immediate needs of Vi Bella artisans and the communities where they work. Donations will also assist in funding school sponsorships for all our artisans’ children in Haiti & Mexico.

We also know and endorse the below organizations that are providing effective, timely, well-planned relief on the ground in Haiti. We suggest donating to one of the following organizations:

Mission of Hope: Haiti

MOH is actively working and communicating with hundreds of partners, relief organizations, and the Haitian government to assess damage and need. We have heard unsolicited reports from friends in the hardest hit areas in Haiti talking about the great response and assistance MOH and the HaitiOne network have already given. The best way people can help is by praying and visiting to find out everything being done to respond. You can give on the website or text to donate by texting “@mohhaiti” to 52014.  In addition, affected organizations who have requests or want to give updates on the relief and recovery needs can let them know on the site:

Mission Haiti

Mission Haiti, which is located in south Haiti which sustained heavy damage and loss. This is the area where one of our artisans lives and works.  We trust this organization to use your donation well to aid the people of the Ti-Riviere area.

Other Ways to Respond:

Use your purchasing power by shopping at Vi Bella Jewelry and other companies based in Haiti. Each purchase makes employment and empowerment possible. We include an artisan card with every piece and you can pray specifically for that artisan and their family.

The need for steady employment has been highlighted and brought into clearer focus for many because of this natural disaster. Jobs mean sturdier homes, adequate food and water, and access to healthcare. Vi Bella has been on the ground in Haiti since 2011 and we will continue our commitment to link arms with those we love there. We are working harder than ever to market the products created by our artisans that offer life-changing employment for them. Our dream is to employ even more artisans in Haiti.

We want to invite even more people into our growing circle. You can provide employment to Haitians who need it and be included in the vibrant, life affirming community of Vi Bella by joining as a Beautiful Life Ambassador or  partner.

Together we can make a long-term impact.

Thank you for your prayers. They have been felt. We are in awe of how God has surrounded and protected those we love in these trying days. We know He will be faithful in carrying us in the challenges that lie ahead.

In Him,

The Vi Bella Staff
